Q: How do I book an appointment?

A: We are a referral based service so to been seen by us, you will need to be referred by a physician

Q: Will my Registered Dietitian give me a meal plan?

A: We do not provide a tailored meal plan at your first visit, but your dietitian can work with you during your appointments to help develop a specific meal plan over time by providing a variety of nutritious meal ideas and recipes that you enjoy. Our main goal is to give you the tools and skills to be successful long-term by teaching your more about nutrition and helping you create healthy habits that will last a lifetime. 

Q: Who will I meet with?

A: You will meet with a Registered Dietitian trained to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy, for your specific, medical needs.

Q: How do I prepare for my first visit?

A:  Prior to your first appointment, you will receive a welcome email. In the email, you will find a welcome video and directions on how to complete the intake forms. This is a Medical Nutrition Therapy appointment, so please be in a quiet private place where you can take notes and have access to your computer if needed.

Q: What can I expect at my first visit?

A: At your first appointment, you will meet with your Registered Dietitian. This appointment will take approximately an hour. They will conduct a Nutrition Assessment and get to know more about you, so be ready to be asked questions about your medical history and eating behaviors. You will also have a chance to get to know your dietitian, your partner in this journey to better health and wellness.

Q: Why was I contacted to make an appointment?

A: We are a referral based service so if you are contacted by us to make an appointment that means you were referred by your physician.
